Joy's Japanimation

Quaint little shop. The worker seemed nice. There's not a huge selection of stuff. It's mainly super heroes comics and manga, but there was a small unique section that had resources for learning Japanese. Almost every manga was missing Volume 1 and 2... I know they can order it on demand, but so I can for like the same price and have it on my door... I'd like to be able to support little shops like this, but you gotta have the first volumes in stock at all times if you want new customers... there were a few posters, but they were kind of a jumbled mess. There were also a few random action figures, but not a huge selection. I know in our case that I would have had a kid begging for a figure/doll, which I would have purchased, if the selection was there. There was a weird moment where the only other customers whole we were there, two, I believe adult, girls were looking between the shelves and the little girl I was with was saying something about, "maybe I could get something for demon slayer, I've watched enough videos to know almost everything from it, but .." and while I didn't hear it, the little girl says that the two young adult girls mocked her. We had this discussion at the counter in front of the employee right after I missed this interaction. I wasn't 100% sure that everything was heard accurately or if the girls were teenagers or adults and they were now not in view, so I wasn't about to storm up to them and scream at them or whatever, but especially if these girls are frequent visitors to the shop, I hope the employee might have mentioned to them that they shouldn't harass ten year old customers for being excited about what is clearly their common interest.
